In this world we have a lot of religious, spiritual, and moral confusion. My goal is to help people get through the muck of man-made wisdom and find what God says about the most pressing questions in our lives. Who is Pastor Jeff? Pastor Jeff is an Ordained Minister, Bible Study teacher, and a Harley Davidson fan.

Hi.... I'm Pastor Jeff Lilley, nice to meet you.

Let me give you the scaled down version of who I am and what I do.

Home Life:
I live in Beaumont, CA, which is in sunny So. Cal, with my wife (Janette) and two dogs (Angel) a chow mix and (Buster) a 100 pound shepard mix who just showed up on my doorstep last year. Between us we have Five kids 4 boys (Joshua, Eric, Ryan and T.J) and a Princess (Heather) and Three Grand kids 1 boy (Cameron) and 2 girls (Ashley and Abigail)

Work/Career
I am a full time Pastor and Chaplain, Ordained since 1997. I have been on the internet for 10 years and my wife and I run JJL Ministries Inc. We are also Job Counselors with the "Ticket to work" program, run by Social Security.

Before Doing what I do now, I was a Jehovah's Witness for about 8 years and a third generation Funeral Director. Growing up in New York City opened my eyes to so much and has been a huge help in my ministry with the homeless.

I have a degree in Mortuary Science and also Biblical Studies and Theology. I have a street smart degree in Marketing, although I never stopped learning and never will.

Personality and Passion
I am an extreme extrovert who loves people places and things. I am easy to get along with and always remembered after the first meeting. Although as I get older I don't seem to remember as well as I did when I was younger and I am constantly asking my wife, who was that?...LOL

My Passions revolve around:
1- Ministry and helping the homeless and needy.
2- Studying the Bible and helping others study and understand the Bible.
3- Teaching the word of God, through as many means as possible. Even using word, if I have to.
4- Sharing the Gospel with all who have an ear and making disciples, including schooling and licensing Ministers and Chaplains.

So, This blog is a place for me to get some stuff I have been thinking about in focus. I’m not sure where it’ll end up but suspect there will be announcements about the different studies and newsletters I am currently working on and available from our ministry, a few reflections on life in general, occasional asking of your opinion in different projects and aspect of development of new studies and Ideas, and a few observations, stories and accounts on what I’ve been doing and observing on an hourly, daily, weekly or up to the minute reports.
